Annual Training Program of China's Reform and New Institutional Economics: Institutional approach in economics has been little known to domestic academic sphere, let alone the community as a whole. In order to enhance the understanding of institutionalism and in turn the capacity of applying it to the current economic reform, a coherent program series is conducted each year with its main target aiming at university lecturers and students.

Annual Conference of Chinese Scholars in New Institutional Economics: As the preparation for founding The Great China New Institutional Economics Association with honor chairman Steven Chuang, the first conference was held in Oct 2001. The conference will continue in the future. Till the end of 2006, totally 6 sessions were completed.

Unirule Biweekly Symposium: Unirule has held over 321 Biweekly Symposium till now. Not only does the Symposium offer a forum of discussions on those live issues taking place at the time, but also provides an opportunity for exchange of ideas amongst different disciplines of social science as well as amongst scholars, policy makers, government officials and business people. In fact, the free and regular nature has made it one of the popular forums exiting rarely in present China.

Large Scale Seminar on Key Academic and Practical Issues: The institute has vigorously organized a large-scale seminar each year on those issues that the institute thinks are crucial in academic improvement and economic development, but somehow overlooked by scholars and the government. Topics are, for example, “Economic Liberty and Democracy? “Property Right and Firm? and “Enterprises' Privatization? “Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises?and “Accelerating the Development of Townships in China?

China Macroeconomist Forum Quarterly: Each year, there are four sessions on the quarterly basis to discuss China’s macroeconomic trend.

Forum on Domestic Capital Market: At the request of some financial corporations, the institute undertakes the task of organizing the forum of two-day session four times each year.

Annual Publication of “Economics in China? The original aim of compiling the series of books is to promote domestically high quality of research in economics by encouraging researchers to utilize modern economic concepts and methods, or so-called "economic norm". The theses selected in a volume each year are widely regarded as representing the best of the economic research papers published domestically in that year.
